As a professor, researcher, or graduate student you want your work to be judged on merit, not your English writing skills. Agreed Biomedica will help you communicate more clearly, revising your manuscript for clarity, flow, word choice, and idiomatic expressions, jargon, as well as grammar and spelling, so that your document sounds natural.

Please note that we do not edit documents that have not been translated by humans. Unfortunately, we do not accept documents translated using translation software for editing or do machine translation post-editing (MTPE). MTPE is the process where a text that was previously pre-translated by a machine-translated engine reaches its final form after being edited by a human translator. machine-translated text is translated word by word and do not understand the context of your writing and often just do not make any sense. While for non-specialist documents like narratives or literary works, MTPE, may be an economical choice, scientific articles are currently too complex for MT. Further, translated documents are frequently very difficult to understand and there is a high risk that any changes made could introduce errors into your text. This is especially true for scientific papers. Note that machine-translated documents can be easily identified by a native speaker. If you do your best to write the document in English using terminology relative to your field that you are familiar with, we will help edit it to improve your work. However, if you submit a Machine-translated document for editing, we reserve the right to reject a paper and it will not be accepted for editing, as editing such documents is paramount to re-writing, which falls into another category of service and price range that is approximately 3-times higher than the cost of editing. Instead, we recommend that you have your article professionally translated. We will happily edit the translated document and help you with your submission.

NOTE: Agreed Biomedica will not paraphrase or rewrite plagiarized text. It is now often standard practice for publishers to run submitted manuscripts through plagiarism-checking software packages before they are sent out for review. Journal ethical policies demand that anything we take from any other paper, even our own (Self-plagiarism), must be correctly sourced and cited. As outlined in our Terms and Conditions, Agreed Biomedica will not edit any document or section of any document that we believe to be plagiarised.
